The School is committed to regenerative architecture and aims to develop a repository of knowledge documenting historical and traditional wisdom of the community in hot arid desert region. The focus area for the school is Waste, Water, Energy, and Human Productivity through sustainable architecture. The School envisions developing unique capacity building programs for continued education of teachers and professionals. Job oriented vocational education and skill development courses are initiated in specialized fields.

      The School of Chemical Sciences and Pharmacy hosts two departments viz. Department of Chemistry and Department of Pharmacy, where both the departments are being supported by Department of Science and Technology, under Fund for Improvement of Science and Technology Infrastructure (DST-FIST). The School has the aim to disseminate quality education in both the disciplines and execute research in the allied fields. The School bridges one pure science with the other applied science promotes interdisciplinary research and caters relevant courses for the industry, for the benefit of all the stakeholder of the School.

      School of Engineering and Technology was established in the University in the year 2010 to impart quality technical education for sustainable development. The school offers post-graduate and research programs in Engineering and Technology. The objective of the School is to play a prodigious role in achieving the vision of the University i.e., education for sustainable development. The school aims at providing excellent training to students/scholars in advanced technologies, so as to produce engineering graduates of high caliber and moral values. The School aims at being a pioneer in the field of engineering education and research. The School has currently three department i.e. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronic and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Biomedical Engineering and is expected to expand very soon to achieve its goal.

      The School of Life Sciences has been established in 2012 with an emphasis on interdisciplinary teaching and research in modern biology. The School now has twenty-four teaching staff and five supporting staff. In addition to this, numbers of postdoctoral fellows are working in the department. In the current academic session, School of life sciences has moved to its permanent building with state of art laboratory for each Faculty and Central instrumentation facility in each department. In the new building SLS also have modern seminar halls, auditorium and smart classes.

      The School of Social Science has five major innovative academic departments: Public Policy, Law and Governance, Economics, Social Work, Media and Culture Studies and Department of Society-Technology Interface. The curricula developed and taught in all the Departments are modernized and improved considering latest academic trends of the disciplines. The faculties of the School representing established Universities of the Country have done significant academic works. Amounting more than 50 Lakhs Project Grants have been accrued by very talented faculty members of the School from various external agencies like National Commission for Women (NCW), DST, UGC-MRP and ICSSR. In the Academic Year (2017-18), Two new academic programmes have been launched like Two-Years Master’s Program on Digital Society and One-year PG Diploma in Cultural Informatics in the School. This PG Programmes are specialised inter-disciplinary courses linking both the academic trends of Social Sciences and Digital Technology.

      The School of Sports Sciences was established in May 2018 with the support of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India. The School of Sports Sciences aims to carry out active teaching and research in the various fields of Sports Sciences. The Master programs of this school would enhance the knowledge of the students in sports sciences and improve their level of understanding with underlying scientific principles in sports sciences. The courses would emphasize on both theoretical and laboratory aspects which would help the students to enrich and sharpen their knowledge both in instrumentation techniques and software based simulations in sports sciences.

      The department of Physics at Central University of Rajasthan was established in the academic year 2011-12 to offer 2-years M. Sc. Physics program with an intake capacity of 20 students.
