Department of Social Work is established in the year 2012 under the School of Social Sciences. The Department now provides the following programs for students who are passionate in working to create an inclusive and just society that upholds the values of diversity, social justice, and human rights.

The Department endeavors to produce skilled and trained social work professionals who are socially significant, globally competent and locally relevant through creative teaching pedagogy, cutting-edge research and practice.
The Department is renowned for its cutting-edge methods of instruction and fieldwork interventions. With over 15 years of combined teaching and practice experience, the faculty members are extremely qualified. The academic members are consistently involved in conducting cutting-edge research projects and field action initiatives field action projects to develop research-informed policy changes in addition to instructing programs.
