Dr. Vishvanath's laboratory mainly focuses on the biochemistry of pathogenesis and drug resistance, as well as therapeutics development for ESKAPE pathogens (Acinetobacter baumannii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, and Klebsiella pneumoniae) causes hospital-acquired infections.
