The Department of Neuroscience is being established under the Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences at the Central University of Rajasthan. With the ongoing development and expansion of scientific infrastructure and faculty expertise, the Department of Neuroscience aims to become a leading center for neuroscience education and research.
Academic Program
The MSc Neuroscience program is designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the subject. The Department of Neuroscience offers an MSc Neuroscience program that combines rigorous coursework with hands-on research opportunities. Our curriculum covers various disciplines, including molecular neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, and neurophysiology.
Scope: The degree of MSc in Neuroscience opens a wide range of career opportunities across various sectors, including academia, research, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, government agencies, and private industry.
Eligibility for admission: Graduation with 55% marks with Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Neurobiology/Neuroscience/Zoology/Pharmacology along with Chemistry and 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS candidates
OR
MBBS/BDS/B.H.M.S/B.U.M.S/B.V.Sc/B.PT/B.Pharm/ BMLS/M.Pharm, B.Sc Nursing or BAMS or equivalent with at least 55% marks and 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS candidates.
